Visionary

I provide visionary leadership to the product development team, setting clear objectives, priorities, and performance expectations. At Health Advocate, I developed the vision and set the direction for the development and investments in the member’s digital experience. I took Health Advocate from a brochure-ware site to a personalized, mobile first experience that drives consumer action.

Build High Performance Teams

I foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment where team members are motivated, engaged, and empowered to contribute their best. I meet weekly with my team and include developers and QA so everyone feels they are part of the processes. I believe in giving my team the autonomy to do their jobs to the best of their ability. I don’t want them to feel that they have to please me but rather please the customer.

Mentor & Coach

I mentor and coach team members, supporting their professional growth and skill development in product design, development, and management. I coached an entry level product manager on leadership and product skills ultimately leading to promotion to Sr. Product Manager. The Developers consistently provide me unsolicited positive feedback on her skills. I invested in training/coaching hand-selected Client Services associate on product management fundamentals, resulting in new Assoc. Product Manager able to guide development via creation of epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
